I don't know much about this stuff, but at the yard they called it Montana Rock Works McGregor Lake and I had to wait a long time for it to be delivered. I'm sure I paid too much for it! The stone suppliers here in my area are ...Michelle,<br />The stone suppliers here in my area are very secretive.<br />They make up names of the stone so that we landscapers cannot go directly to the quarry to purchase the stone.<br /><br />They are calling this "cabernet wall stone".<br /><br />Usually in some amount of time we find out exactly where the stone is coming from, but so far I haven't found this information out yet.<br /><br />As an example they call a particular stone "Sonoma Bluff stone" and they sell it for about $ 275 a ton.<br />I know the quarry , it is in Sonoma and is named Sayers.
