Last week the S.F. Bromeliad Club and the S.F Cactus and Succulent Club had separate field trips.
The Brom club went to the S.F. Conservatory and the Succulent club hired a bus and took us down to visit the cactus garden in Stanford, the Rodin sculpture garden , wine tasing in Gilroy and then plant shopping at Succulent Gardens Nursery in Castroville.

Part of a special exhibit at the conservatory was author Amy Stewarts Wicked Plants show.
It was a hoot ! Lot of wicked poisonous plants set to a story line.

I was interested in this deadly plant because I’ve seen it covertly growing in a nursery . It wasn’t for sale. It was being grown by one of the nursery workers for his own usse.
