Living in the midst of the great redwoods is a fantastic experience.
Especially during our wet winter months.
When it is lightly raining in town, you can bet it is pouring in the adjoining redwood groves.

The interesting thing is, that you can actually stay modestly dry when standing under the canopy of a grove of redwoods . The dense canopy of coniferous foliage filters out the heavy down pour into a pleasantly light mist.

Jocyelyn,
magical in deed . love the redwoods.
Loree, this is one of my favorite gardens because the family uses it so well.
Susan, I could use a 'real facelift' but the blog one will have to do.
JJ. . This property is located in Mill Valley, Marin County. It's a beautiful place to raise a family and spend time in the garden.
Hey, Nice face lift! And what a place to hang out in. But I am curious as to the impact on the trees after the construction. They must have been stressed out by so much disturbance and trampling in their root zones. How long ago did this get installed... Patrick
