Orange you’re glad you are a gardener

Clivias are in bloom in Northern California.

From Pina Colada

These fleshy rhizomes made their way from Southern Africa and have adjusted quite well to our mild winter climate.

Hey MIchelle, I haven't had any Clivia's in my greenhouse for at least two decades. But I still recall the cool stiff fan shape and fleshy roots which grab at the earth. Nice foto presentation of the same plant... I think I might be interested in trying some of the new colors available now. But that Orange is very Yummy,so Yummy that I painted my bathroom that color. love it... Patrick

You have such a wonderful garden, Michelle,
I need to get back there once SPRING has fully sprung!

Alice
great to see you at the Flower Show!!
p.s. Clematis montana Rubens is flowering like mad here, despite the crazy hail, rain, and return of stormy weather. Hope the blooms are blown away.
