I took a drive today to see the fall colors in Napa and Sonoma Valleys.
The rows of grapes are turning brilliant red , orange and yellow on the vines.
I drove past one of my projects that we installed 2 years ago, - a driveway entry that was planted with imported 70 year old olive trees from the central valley along with a major mass planting of ornamental grasses and mexican sage.

Beautiful...
Hey Michell, You know I have always really liked this design. I think it would be great if you would post this at PGU so the guys could see what you did and how you moved these trees. Truely awesome...

Fabulous design. I think the mass planting of grasses is stunning. Makes me think that's a good idea for my long, long driveway!

Sweet design! I didn't see any text to indicate what the plants are - the Mexican Sage if self-evident, but the grass is harder to make out.
Please tell me that the grass is not Pennisetum setaceum. Looks kinda like P. orientalis. If it is P. setaceum, don't you find that it scatters, reseeds and becomes invasive? It's a scourge down here in Santa Barbara, taking over native areas of vegetation.
Anyway, gorgeous as long as it isn't doing any harm.
